Ok, so if you haven't heard of podcasting, it's worth paying attention to. There are several podcasts that I've been listening to lately, and it's a phenomenon that has been growing rapidly. I wanted to post some links, etc... here for people to learn a little bit more.
Via Wikipedia:
"Podcasting is different than broadcasting and webcasting in that it "casts" audio not by a mechanism of centrally pushing
audio out to listeners, but by the mechanism of the (distributed) listeners pulling (downloading) the audio files automatically.
Podcasters publish (or "podcast") audio files, even in the likeness of radio shows, but
it is the individual listener who initiates the "cast" through their subscription and automatic download of the audio
program."

Also, make sure to visit the Doc Searls weblog often. He posts about podcasting all the time, and is tracking the growth of podcasting.
Thanks!
By the way, I try to do most of my podcast-related blogging at IT Garage (http://garage.docsearls.com), which is concerned with do-it-yourself (DIY) subject matter.
This piece (http://garage.docsearls.com/node/view/462) is a good example.
