PBS Blog Gurus

Frontline_3I was really impressed when PBS started offering Frontline programs online. This was a progressive move. So I was equally impressed to find out that PBS is offering trackback for most of the pages on their site. Because the trackback data is actually available in the code, and not as a user interface element on the pages, it looks as if PBS may be experimenting with it to see what happens. It also looks like this company may have something to do with it. I'll be interested to see what happens.

For those of you who need it, here's a primer on trackback.

My friend Peter Merholz's company Adaptive Path did quite a lot of work for PBS as well in the recent past. I love it that our public media outlets, PBS, NPR and even the BBC are so open and hip!
