Microsoft has announced the first details on the new Xbox. GDC is underway this week in San Francisco, so there's surely more to come. Here's some more coverage of the announcement:

The idea of the gamer store has the potential to make some pretty big money for Microsoft. The official unveiling of the Xbox 2 will be at the E3 expo in May.
