Big Radio Using Podcasts?

Kyou_2Silicon Beat has posted about an interesting story. Infinity Broadcasting is creating the first podcast only radio station. It will be started in San Francisco on 1550 KYCY-AM, where Infinity is broadcasting a collection of different podcasts on the aforementioned AM radio station. You can also listen to the stream anywhere in the world by visiting KYOURADIO.com. It doesn't appear that the station has officially launched yet, but you can register currently at the site to upload podcasts.

Interestingly enough, Silicon Beat points out that: "it's not clear if listeners will be able to download the programming as podcasts." I hope so...

Here's a link to the press release.
