Ringtones in the US
According to a study by M:Metrics, 13.6% of US mobile subscribers downloaded a ringtone in April. Even more interesting is the fact that most of them downloaded multiple ringtones, and half of them purchased ringtones from the web...
Slowly but surely, the US is catching up to the rest of the world. We can clearly see the future of the mobile market in the US by looking overseas, but most companies are still doing nothing in the mobile space.
