Diet Coke: Hotel You
Diet Coke has launched a website called "Hotel You." The site is supposed to offer content about food, travel and style... and it does, but the content is really from Conde Nast. All a user needs to do is look at the URL after they click on a link, and see that the site's hosted at condenet.com. That little detail kinda blows the whole "branded content" strategy. What's more, links open in a new window, and the site designs are inconsistent.
