You may remember last year, Borders had one of the better holiday marketing sites, the "Giftmixer 3000." This year, they're following suit, launching SeasonofSurprises.com. It's a gift selector as well, but with an eye towards the people you're finding gifts for... their personalities and tastes. The site is well designed with some great illustrations, and is definitely worth checking out. Borders has set the bar once again.

Since it's the Thanksgiving holiday, I'm taking a break and won't be posting again until Monday. Until then, brush up on your Thanksgiving history. You can also visit my other project, LOSTCasts. It's the best podcast for the ABC hit series, LOST. If you're a LOST fanatic, you'll enjoy it.

The agency I work for just launched a new site for the Hyundai Azera. It's a new model released to compete with cars such as the Toyota Avalon, Nissan Maxima and the Ford Five Hundred. The Azera beats them all in terms of safety features, interior space and price. It's worth checking out.
Thanks for allowing me a bit of shameless self-promotion.
I have to applaud The Washington Post for embracing Web 2.0 quicker than I thought any newspaper would. They've launched a blog called "Post Remix" that highlights some of the useful things that readers have developed using Washington Post content. Granted, the reader created applications aren't really that impressive right now. But the impressive part is that The Washington Post sees value in opening up their content to users.

Microsoft has built a viral microsite around "Milkman Mike", a guy who shoots milk out of his eyeballs. I have no idea what in the heck this has to do with Windows Media Center... but it's strange enough to capture my attention, at least for a little while.
