CNN Launches Online-Only TV

Cnnpipeline_1Even more good news on the video front. I've been waiting for this to happen, and it has. A couple days ago, CNN launched "CNN Pipeline", one of the first online-only news networks. They don't rebroadcast CNN material airing on the traditional airwaves. Instead, they have their own unique content and anchors. It's completely ad-free, but costs $2.95/month or $24.95/year. You also have the ability to get a day pass for $0.99, which I think is a great idea for days with really big news happening.

This is huge... Kudos to CNN for stepping up to the plate early. There will be many more to come.
