Odeo's Next Step

Odeo launched as a podcast directory, with ability to listen to podcasts directly from the page. Now, however, Odeo has greatly expanded with the addition of tools that allow users to easily create their own podcasts through Odeo. Literally all you need is a microphone or a telephone... that's it. Odeo does the rest. They've been vocal about their vision of "Podcasting for Regular People."

I think it will be interesting to see what kind of a niche Odeo carves out for itself. Right now, at least, it looks like they're trying to become the "Blogger" of the podcasting world.
