Visa has launched a new site for its "Life Takes Visa" campaign, at lifetakesvisa.com.
Sure, the site has some nice use of flash and video, but it has no point. Basically, there are a bunch of videos that are nothing more than little ads. They offer no value, and yet Visa believes we are going to send these to friends? I don't think so. Only a couple are even marginally entertaining, but they are so short, they aren't even worth sending.
What's even more weird about the site is that at the bottom it says the site is copyrighted by Microsoft Corporation... What? So did Microsoft build this? Are they just hosting it? Why in the heck does Visa need Microsoft to get involved in their site design at all? I'm baffled...

I don't know anything about this site...but: Visa has used development efforts from Microsoft in the past. The (extraordinarily awesome) Ideas Happen campaign was a combination of talent from MSN, AKQA and the Visa brand.
