Nike Women: Interactive Dance Video

Nikewomendance

Nike teamed up with R/GA to launch an "interactive video" for their Nike Rockstar Workout. The interactive video teaches visitors to the site the dance moves featured in a music video from singer Rihanna.

I like the idea, although I have to say that I clearly am not the target. I got extremely annoyed by the choreographer guy who's the main personality in the interactive section of the video. His incessant "dance" talk made me cringe. And 1, 2, 3, 4, click it down, scroll the mouse, uh 2, 2, 7, 8...

Ah, the rough life of a professional hip-hop dancer.

Nice! Nike always seems to find a way to balance that sports/culture edge. And this is certainly a good interactive/video execution. You can fairly easily see this leaping from Web site to TV-experience (ie: on-demand, on-TiVo, DVD in a shoebox)
