I didn't think much about the MasterCard MacGuyver commercial when I saw it during the Super Bowl. At least, I didn't think much other than - wow, Richard Dean Anderson is getting old. But it was one of the Super Bowl commercials where the URL caught my eye. The commercial directed people to Priceless.com. And guess what? It looks like MasterCard is trying to pull off a blog.
They actually refer to the entries as "articles", but Priceless.com clearly is supposed to feel blog-like. however, it's missing many of the features that would make it a blog, like comments and an RSS feed. Having said that, though, I'm impressed by something on the Priceless.com site... they link out to other sites! Kudos on that.
I don't think people will be turning to MasterCard as the guru on "life's adventures", but it's nice to see them give it a shot. I mean, they could have just sent people to a credit card application. But they tried something different.
