Mentos proves they "get it" by launching a consumer generated media effort called the "Mentos Geyser Video Contest." You may have seen some of the videos floating around that demonstrate what happens when you drop Mentos into soft drinks. This one is my favorite. The Mentos + soft drink phenomenon has spread like wildfire online, and it seems Mentos was paying attention. Better yet, they decided to embrace it.
Right on Mentos! Now why don't one of the soft drink companies throw their hat into the ring on this one? Coke has apparently already dismissed the videos, which have been viewed millions of times. Oh, that's right... they're too busy creating their own.
