Uniqlo has launched a great new website in conjunction with Cirque Du Soleil. It features members of Cirque Du Soleil performing "Corteo" wearing Uniqlo clothing. Uniqlo once again proves that providing an engaging online experience can be as easy as using full-screen video.
It's intriguing idea as first. However, after watching for a while, the costumes and clothing is such an essential part of Cirque du Soleil that the performers wearing plain clothes simply means that Uniqlo is boring. Very boring. Like some generic gym exercises or preparing for Olympics of some sort.
It would perhaps work if the performers were wearing Marc Jacobs or Hussein Chalayan.
