What do you attribute the lower twitter traffic to?
Could it be that all the people who joined during the hey day of the twitter hype machine (from late last year to when Oprah joined in April 2009) - found little reason to return?
I don't buy the going to other platforms (ie. using clients instead of the twitter home page excuse) - because the drop off would not be that stark, and it would be offset by the continuous growth of new users.
