Sega Pokes Fun at DS

GggI missed this April Fools' Joke, but that's probably because I don't live in Japan. Sega's prank was the fake release of what that they called "Game Gear Goju." It's a pretty straightforward attack on the Nintendo DS. Sega's new GGG handheld has 50 screens instead of a measly 2 screens.

Check out TechJapan's post if you can't read Japanese, and check out the GGG directly from Sega if you can.

April Fools': Google Gulp

Gulp_1"At Google our mission is to organize the world's information and make it useful and accessible to our users. But any piece of information's usefulness derives, to a depressing degree, from the cognitive ability of the user who's using it. That's why we're pleased to announce Google Gulp (BETA)™ with Auto-Drink™ (LIMITED RELEASE), a line of "smart drinks" designed to maximize your surfing efficiency by making you more intelligent, and less thirsty."

This is the kind of LAME April Fools' day joke we'd expect from a publicly traded company. Can't say anything outrageous or semi-believable because the stock price might tank.
